| Well, summer is almost over and things are settling down in town. Traffic has diminished along with the crowds. So, now is the perfect time to come and see how beautiful Laguna Beach can truly be. And, of course, no trip to Laguna would be complete without a visit to How Original! Stop in for a look at all the new artwork that has arrived. We have palm fronds painted to look like different animals by Fouad Shilaimon, art note cards by Laura Berry, new wood pieces by Richard Trujillo, more enamel fish by Vickey Klaas, and lots of other really cool stuff. |

It has been a very busy summer with two concurrent exhibits going on.
Picture This! A Young Peoples Photography Exhibit was a rousing success. It has been a very enriching experience for all who have been involved. We have received so many positive comments from the patrons who have come into the gallery and seen the student’s artwork. In fact, one of the student’s photographs was actually sold! The other exhibit, In the Toilet - An Exhibit of Art Meets Function, was a huge success. Not only did we auction off all of the painted toilets to raise money for the Surfrider Foundation, but the exhibit was featured on several different television news broadcasts, as well as radio and newspapers across the country. A very special thank you to everyone who made this exhibit so much fun! |
