It was a bright and warm and sunshine day And Katie and Kirky were hard at play. There were with their friend Lance, up in a tree, Climbing up high so they could see.
When from out of the sky came a "WHIRRING" sound And a strange-looking space ship flew to the ground. It landed on the grass right near their tree. "On wow!" said Kirky. "Who can that be?"
"Don't know!" said Lance. "Let's go and see." So the kids climbed down from the big old tree. But before the kids could move any more On the side of that ship there opened a door!
And from out of that ship from outer space Came an alien being with a funny face. His space suit was baggy, his big shoes were blue. Katie walked up and said, "Hi! Who are you?"
