Photography Class by David Linnig
The class is intended for novice to advanced amateur photographers who want to improve the quality of their photography. Participants should have and know how to use a 35mm single-lens reflex camera. Having accessory lenses is an advantage but is not required.
The course will consist of six class sessions to be held on selected weekday evenings, from approximately 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Each class will include instruction, discussion, and field work with the instructor.
Each session the students will be given a specific assignment for the week. The following class will begin with a review and sharing of each student’s work from the preceding week’s assignment and any other work they may have done.

|Class 3||Light and lighting.|
|Class 5||“Working” a subject.|
|Class 6||What’s next? Class wrap-up and individual future plans.|
$225 per student.

David Linnig is a former corporate manager who retired early to pursue a
life-long dream of freelance fine art photography.
He shows his work at How Original!, at the Laguna Beach Art-A-Fair
Festival as well as a number of other art festivals in northern and southern
Recent exhibitions of his work include The Streets of San Francisco: An Urban
Landscape at the San Francisco Black and White Gallery and Culture and
Agriculture 2002 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
His images have been published nationally in Astronomy, Explore
the Universe, and Popular Photography, as well as in a number of
local publications. David also
