"Pieces of a Dream"

This piece is made from scraps of silk that have been randomly quilted.  Coordinating yarn was then couched on top.  The resulting quilt was then chopped into pieces and spread out on top of fine netting.  Water soluble stabilizer was placed on top and then the whole thing was quilted again using metallic threads.
