"Memories of Monterey II"

This is the most recent in the California coastal series, completed in January 2002.  This particular piece is based on a photograph taken by my father about 40 years ago up in the Monterey area.  The piece is made with all fabric and thread, there is no painting done.  All the details are achieved by doing free motion work with the sewing machine. This piece was featured in an article I wrote for the Fall 2003 issue of Legacy Magazine.
